~President Obama and North Korea broke the conflict with each other with the "Leap-Year Deal," pleased and relieved with the pledge to stop nuclear testing and missile launches to suspect the agreement represents new beginning for the two countries, March 1st. 2012.

~Housing prices and sales have gone up by 1.4% the last month in Canada

~On March 14th, the Brandon Wheat Kings hosted the Moose Jaw Warriors and lost in a shootout with a score of 3-2.

~ Robocall scandals are messing up elections in Canada and causing protestors to gather across the country, on Sunday, March 10, 2012.

~Frustrated Air Cananda pilots say they may be forced to stay home due to stress and to look for other jobs elsewhere now that back to work legislation prevents them from striking.

~The RM of St. Laurent continues to deal with the flood impact of 2011, with hundreds of homes still under water. Taxes for property owners not affected by the flood could rise by a shocking 22% because of drops in value for other homes that were damaged in the 2011 flood.

~On March 13, 2012 Lanier Phillips an African - American who survived the sinking of a U.S. navel ship in Newfoundland in 1942, has died at age 88.
