  • It was reported that a down syndrome kindergarten student was locked in a quiet room, unattended for long periods of time in a BC school because of acting out in a disruptive way. (KR)

  •  Anita shared a incident from 2014  regarding a case of bullying due to a My Little Pony backpack, where finally a school board recognized and dealt  fairly with the incident.
  • Children are being treated terribly just to try to get away from war torn Syria as some families have left them behind or have been separated as they flee seeking safety. (Michelle)

Abby brought her Mothers wedding dress. She plans on altering the dress and wearing it in the future. 


Paul brought a personalized hockey card that was made at Atom provincials in 2012. He was 11 years old, 95 pounds, 5’2”, and playing out of Virden.
 

Elizabeth brought a telegraph message from November 29th 1943 from her great grandpa whose plane was shot down overseas in WW2, in Germany. He was declared missing and this message was the first to let his family know he was safe.  


Makayla brought her tri bread cat named Flame Girl. She is a gorgeous orange coloured Himalayan Ragdoll cross Tabby cat. She is Makayla’s alarm clock in the morning.
